Who says sleeping princesses can have all the fun? This delightful twist on the well-known fairy tale has all the ingredients for a story that will delight kids of all ages. A beautiful princess, a sleepy prince, an evil witch, and an assortment of castle dwellers keep the action moving. Emma, who is ‘sort-of’ a princess and her best friend Izzy, who works in the castle, find themselves trying to outwit an evil witch (Morgan) who wants control of the kingdom. Prince Charles keeps getting hit with Sleeping Spells and his brother, Prince James, tries to help Emma and Izzy when he’s not rescuing his mother, the Queen, from Morgan’s clutches. Emma manages to break the first Sleeping Spell – by kissing the Prince before Morgan does! But that puts the Prince in her power. Hmmm. What will she do? Give everyone a day off, of course. The castle servants love her, but who will fix dinner? Will Emma marry her prince that she’s been dreaming about since she was a little girl? Will Prince Charles ever realize there’s more to life than his mirror? Will the Queen see through the lies told by Morgan and stop throwing Emma and Izzy in the dungeon? And how does the frog fit in?

There will be a gala celebration on opening night when everyone is invited to have cake and punch with the entire cast. It will be a chance for the children to meet the characters. Have a visit and even dance with the actors, if the children would like. Everyone is invited to wear their favorite costume.

Come as any character you would like. Regular clothes are also fine. Children are always invited to wear costumes to all shows of the Little BIT Players.
