Mary Gambale |
| Mary Stephanie Gambale, a new comer to Sacramento Theatre, made her small and courageous start in the capital city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. During her auspicious youth, Mary starred in what is now the world-renowned children's show, Mira, Mira! Her next adventure would be a move to the exotic Dominican Republic. There her short-lived marriage to musician Cristobal Diaz-Ayao, led her straight to financial ruin. Despite her tragic luck, Mary went on to be the 1962 "Miss Latin America" runner-up. It was there she would come to find her new calling as a world class Meringue instructor for the underprivileged. Her work did not go unnoticed. A new venture would be leading her to our very own United States! Mary has made the most of her stay here with cameo appearances in movies such as La Bamba and Escape from Honduras. Which leads us to her most recent appearance here at BIT!! Mary offers years of experience in her role as "Miss Madurga" and would like to shout-out to all of her friends and loved ones who have been at her side along the way, "Muchas gracias mi amigos!" | |
