Juan Flores

After graduating from UC Davis in 1998 with a B.S. in Physiology, Juan Flores traded in his lab coat and stethoscope for the stage when he made his acting debut in the 2002 Lambda Players production of the dramatic original work, The Paperclip Messiah, where he played the taboo love-interest of a faith-torn priest. Juan Flores returned to the stage only recently in another dramatic original work for The Lambda Players, Written On The Hill, where he played an ambitious and manipulative journalist entangled in a treacherous relationship with a reclusive novelist. Three days after the closing of Written On The Hill, Juan received news that he had won the role of Vito Antonucci, for P.S. Your Cat Is Dead! Thankful and excited, Juan leapt at the opportunity to play a bisexual, street hustling burglar for his debut Comedic performance with Big Idea Theatre for acclaimed director Jason Vocque. This performance also reunites Juan with his Written On The Hill co-star, Shaun Baker. Juan would like to thank Jason Vocque for his support, trust and passionate direction. Juan would also like to extend his love and thanks to Shaun Baker for his support, unconditional friendship and for sharing the same vision of theatre that he himself has grown to love and appreciate. Extra special thanks to Zaboomafoo for making the long nights of rehearsal bearable and the long nights of movie-watching inspirational and giggly.
